Natural sugars derived from fruits, plants, legumes are good for you but regular sugar is bad for the body. Sugars can be very dangerous to your health. It can cause diabetes, cancer, cavities, rotten teeth, parasites, infections, etc. A good diet with fruits and vegetables, grains, lots of water and exercise can prolong your lifespan but a diet full with sugar can reduce your chance to be healthy.
Sugar tastes good but it poisons our body. Many of us were raised on sugar, with lot of candies, cookies, cakes when we were growing up. Our parents thought they were being nice to us by giving us a candy or an ice cream after diner. Though we were happy to get it, the bad feelings and the sickness that it brought to our belly weren’t pleasant and sweet. Therefore, treat your kids with real fruits and encourage them to drink plenty of water instead of sodas and juice.
